Advertising Rates

If you are a local business, a vendor at the convention, an author, a publishing company, another convention or simply have a website you want to promote, consider advertising in the MarsCon program book!

Previous years we have averaged between 1200 to 1400 guests and attendees, many arriving on Thursday and staying through Monday (MLK Jr. Day).

Our program books are distributed to all guests, attendees and staff, providing a large audience for your advertisement. Any extra program books are used as promotional material to advertise the next year’s con. As souvenirs of the convention, they often become collector’s items.

Paid ads are also posted on our website, so the sooner you get your ad in, the more time your advertisement will be visible to our web site visitors!

Technical Specifications

Ads need to be sent as 300 dpi digital files (jpg, tif, eps, pdf, png).

All images should be black & white. Our printer works with us to get us the best resolution possible, but we can not guarantee the quality of advertisements created from colored artwork. (Color ads may be considered. Increased rates and earlier deadlines will apply. Email info@marscon.net to inquire.)

No bleeds.

Deadlines

Space reservations must be made by December 15th, 2022. After you have determined what size ad you would like, please email us at info@marscon.net with your request. Once it is received, you will be sent a PayPal invoice. Upon payment received, you will be locked in. Ad submission, Artwork, and Payment Due MUST be received by December 22nd, 2022 in order to be included in the printed Program Book.

Ad space availability is first come, first served. Ads are also posted on our website, so the sooner you lock in your ad space, the more time your advertisement will be visible to our web site visitors!

“Swag”

Flyers, bookmarks, business cards, postcards, etc.

We’re happy to place any items you would like to send us on our freebie table for you.

If you would like us to place something in our Registration Bags, we ask that you send us a minimum of 1200 copies of that item.

All swag must be received by January 5th, 2018. Please email info@marscon.net and let us know the package is coming (so it doesn’t get wet!).
